Sino-Holland Joint-Laboratory of Space Optical Instrument is founded by BISME (Beijing Institute of Space Mechanics and Electricity) and TNO (The Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research). The establishment of Joint-Laboratory aims to develop and research new technologies in the fields of earth observation and deep space exploration for international customers. Furthermore, it aims to be the scientific cooperation platform between China and the Netherlands. Both countries will initiate programs in advanced optical technologies, academic exchange and personnel training based on the agreement of Joint-Laboratory. It also wishes to establish the industry standard for China’s optical remote sensing products, and become the technical authority of China’s optical sensing technologies and products.
