5th International Symposium of Space Optical Instrument and Application

We are glad to announce that the 5th International Symposium of Space Optical Instrument and Application conference will return to Beijing this year, which will be held from Sep 5th to Sep 7th 2018. The goal of the symposium is to encourage international communication and cooperation in space optics, and promote the innovation, research and engineering development, initiated by the Sino-Holland Space Optical Instruments Joint Laboratory. BISME will celebrate its 60th year’s anniversary this summer. We will organize a visit to CAST and BISME before the conference. During the conference, there will be exhibitions to display the achievements of BISME in the last 60 years.

The topics of this conference will include:

  • Space optical remote sensing system design
  • Advanced optical system design and manufacturing
  • Remote sensor calibration and measurement
  • Remote sensing data processing and information retrieval
  • Remote sensing data applications
